Keeping your domain contact information up to date is important for receiving notifications about renewals, policy changes, and any communication related to your domain. This guide shows you how to do it from your My Webziclient panel.
Make sure you have:
Open your browser and go to https://my.webzi.mx. Sign in with your email address and password.
Tip: If you forgot your password, you can recover it from the "Forgot your password?" link on the login page.
Once inside your panel, you have two options:
a) In the side menu, click on "Domains"
b) Or access directly from: https://my.webzi.mx/clientarea.php?action=domains
You will see a list of all your registered domains. Locate the domain you want to modify and click on the green "Active" icon next to the domain name. This will take you to the domain management page.
In the left sidebar of the domain management page, you will find the "Manage" section. Click on "Contact Information".
Here you can modify the information for the different contact types:
| Contact Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Registrant | Legal owner of the domain. This is the most important contact. |
| Administrative | Person authorized to manage the domain on a day-to-day basis. |
| Technical | Contact for technical matters related to the domain. |
| Billing | Contact for payment and renewal matters. |
For each contact type you can choose:
Once you have entered or updated the information, click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the form. You will see a confirmation message indicating that the changes were saved successfully.
🔒 Enable Registry Lock
We recommend keeping the "Registry Lock" enabled for your domain. This feature prevents unauthorized transfers. You can enable it from the "Register Lock" menu on the same domain management page.
📧 Keep your email updated
Make sure the registered email address is valid and active, as you will receive important notifications about your domain, including renewal notices.
