At Webzi, we provide the most popular PHP versions and allow users to select the extensions needed for their development. Below we explain how to do it:
Log in to the cPanel control panel using your administrator credentials.
Inside cPanel, look for the "Software" section and click on "Select PHP Version".
On the PHP Version Selector page, you will see a list of the domains hosted on your server along with the current PHP version for each one.
Select the domain for which you want to change the PHP version by clicking the corresponding link.
In the PHP version dropdown list, choose the version you want to use. Available versions may vary depending on your server configuration.
Click the "Set as current" button to set the selected version as the current PHP version for the domain.
The PHP version change will be applied immediately for the selected domain. You can confirm the change by reviewing the main page of the PHP Version Selector.
Repeat steps 4 through 7 for each domain on the server where you want to change the PHP version.
Done! You have successfully changed the PHP version for the selected domains on your cPanel server. Keep in mind that when changing the PHP version, some existing applications or scripts may require adjustments to work correctly with the new version. Always verify compatibility before making significant changes to your PHP configuration.
